Our President ???

Mr President,

It seems that there is no limit to your willingness to deceive the American People and move toward economic destruction. At a time when millions are unemployed, underemployed and in dire financial straits you continue to hide from reality. How you say?

First, not presenting a budget to Congress! What kind of garbage is this? Refusing to address in an honest manner the need to CUT real spending in all aspects of the budget. You dare to threaten seniors with untruths about how Medicare reform will effect their lives.

Leading the way for you in Congress are two of the most repulsive leaders I have seen in my lifetime, Harry Reid and Nancy "I am the Queen," Pelosi. These two make a mockery of our government as you instruct them to oppose any meaningful actions that may take place in the legislative process.

While I recognize your quest to drive Socialism into our country, your presence on the World stage has become a joke. How about acting like a President of the United States and not an incompetent third world flunky.

Your complete lack of real life experience now is on display. You do not respect the Office of the President, your predecessors, the Congress and, most egregiously, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

I am embarrassed that you are my President. Why not join a nice country club with your political flunkies and work on your handicap instead of seeking a second term? Our country would be so much better off. If you think about it, this could be your finest act of Patriotism.

An Open Letter to the White House

I long for the days when James Polk roamed the halls of the White House, or U.S. Grant held his famous and raucous parties, or when Dolly Madison invented ice cream. Why you ask? Each of those situations had a purpose. Only God, on one of his better days, can imagine what purpose you and your administration actually serve.

If Only I Had a Hybrid or a Windmill or a Printing Pre$$ !

"Idiots Delight" - The term nicely describes an action that is absent of logic and ignores the realities of life as we know it. Obama has perfected this concept in his governing style. Case in point.

The price of oil skyrockets to $108, $14 Trillion in debt is about to destroy our economy, a way is underway on our souther border and what does this president do? He announces that the government has begun the conversion to an all green fleet. Now, I would actually support this activity if a) we had the money to take this action, b) instead of converting the fleet, the fleet was cut in half thus reducing the size and intrusion of government, and c) the vehicles weren't yet another avenue to funnel money to the UAW, General Motors in particular.

Mr. president (small "p" for emphasis) do you really want to help our country reduce dependence on foreign oil? How about opening up our country to new exploration and production; how about we convert vehicles and power plants to natural gas...you know that stuff the lives under the U.S. in quantities so large it is beyond virtually impossible to comprehend the size of the reserves. Instead you ask that we figure out a way to  run a vehicle, town, state...on wind mills or algae or solar panels or bullshit!!! Of course, the BS needs to be taxed for emitting excessive quantities of methane.

While our dollar turns to dust you have your Senate sycophants posture for yet another effort to demonize those who attempt to acheive meaningful change. Big Chuckie Schumer carries the water for the democratic caucus that has only one goal - create disruption through the use of personal attacks and disinformation.

Your administration is a malignant disease that has reached the pinnacle of incompetence. Do us all a favor and resign.

Drill Baby Drill - On Yeah, NOT HERE! The Hypocrit Speaks!

Energy Policy: While leaving U.S. oil and jobs in the ground, our itinerant president tells a South American neighbor that we'll help it develop its offshore resources so we can one day import its oil. WHAT?!?
With Japan staggered by a natural disaster and a nuclear crisis, cruise missiles launched against Libya in our third Middle East conflict and a majority of U.S. senators complaining about a lack of leadership on the budget, President Obama decided it would be a good time to schmooze with Brazilians.
His "What, me worry?" presidency has given both Americans and our allies plenty to worry about. But in the process of making nice with Brazil, Obama made a mind-boggling announcement that should make even his most loyal supporter cringe:
We will help Brazil develop its offshore oil so we can one day import it.
We have noted this double standard before, particularly when — at a time when the president was railing against tax incentives for U.S. oil companies — we supported the U.S. Export-Import Bank's plan to lend $2 billion to Brazil's state-run Petrobras with the promise of more to follow.
Now, with a seven-year offshore drilling ban in effect off of both coasts, on Alaska's continental shelf and in much of the Gulf of Mexico — and a de facto moratorium covering the rest — Obama tells the Brazilians:
"We want to help you with the technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely. And when you're ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers."
Obama wants to develop Brazilian offshore oil to help the Brazilian economy create jobs for Brazilian workers while Americans are left unemployed in the face of skyrocketing energy prices by an administration that despises fossil fuels as a threat to the environment and wants to increase our dependency on foreign oil.
Obama said he chose Brazil to kick off his first-ever visit to South America in recognition of that country's ascendancy. He has also highlighted one of the reasons for America's decline — an energy policy that through the creation of an artificial shortage of fossil fuels makes prices "necessarily skyrocket" to foster his green energy agenda.
In an op-ed in USA Today explaining his trip, Obama opined: "Brazil holds recently discovered oil reserves that could be far larger than ours. And as we seek to increase secure-energy supplies, we look forward to developing a strategic energy partnership."
Yet in his alleged quest for "secure-energy supplies," he refuses to develop oil and natural gas resources in U.S. waters. His administration has locked up areas in the West where oil shale reserves are estimated to be triple Saudi Arabia's reserves of crude. His administration is even stalling on plans to build a pipeline to deliver oil from Canada's tar sands to the U.S. market.
That project would build a 1,661-mile pipeline from the tar sands of Alberta to U.S. refineries near Houston. It would create 13,000 "shovel-ready" jobs and provide 500,000 more barrels of oil per day from an ally.
Yet it's now being held up by the State Department because it crosses an international border, on the grounds that it needs further environmental review. Shipping oil by tanker from Brazil is safer and more secure?
If Brazil had copied our current energy policy, it wouldn't have discovered in December 2007 the Tupi field, estimated to contain 5 billion to 8 billon barrels of crude, or its Carioca offshore oilfield that may hold up to 33 billion barrels.
Haroldo Lima, head of Brazil's National Oil Agency, estimates that Carioca might hold as much as five times the reserves of Tupi. Somehow the Brazilians aren't too worried about oil spoiling the pristine beaches of nearby Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro in the tourist season.
We suggest that President Obama return home and start worrying about an unapologetic American renaissance in which we focus more on American energy and American jobs and less on mythical environmental hazards and foreign accolades

It's Back - The Insanity is Too Much to Bear

Silence be gone.


Fiscal realism is at the door. Is America willing to make the hard decisions or will ideological dogma continue until the system implodes?


I am watching the Liberals run from their responsibilities in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio. Violence is particularly troubling in Wisconsin. Even more absurd is watching the public unions in New Jersey call Gov. Christy the next Gadhafi because he is taking away their rights. Rights to what? To continue to take a free ride on the largess of the taxpayer? To refuse to come to grips with a unique circumstance called insolvency out of pure ignorance? 


it also seems that our president (small "p") Obama has little understanding of States (capitol "S") rights. Vilify the unions? Give me a break. The only rights violated and individuals vilified are those Americans who do not want to perpetuate the entitlement mentality that has metastasized through our society. He presents a budget that will increase the deficit over the next tens years to exceed the sum total of our Nation's debt since 1776. Nice work considering the last 2 years achieved a level debt that I believe quintupled our former champion spender "W." I may be off a little, but what's a couple of trillion to this guy.


Seattle has decided to allow public safety officers to decline enforcing laws or taking into custody any offenders that are being denied rights due to racial discrimination. By the way, this is a subjective judgement. Our president has encouraged the Attorney General to refuse to enforce Federal laws that do not recognize same sex marriage. I personally care little about who sleeps with who, but how the hell can a nation of laws ignore enforcement simply - BECAUSE. Why not just pull out copies of Marx's Manifesto and Mao's Little Red Book, tear up the Constitution in one fell swoop and empty the asylums. Oh yeah, we elected them already.


This is officially a rant and, admittedly, not completely coherent. But, I am stupefied and appalled by what I see every day in my country.

It's Just One Battle, Not the War

Well, well, well...A funny thing happened on the way to Socialism. We call it Democracy. My angst over the future of this country is only a bit reduced. But, if a Leftie state like MA can see through the deception, so can the remainder of the nation. Pundits have been blathering non-stop for 2 days now. There is gloating, thanks, ridicule, remorse, surprise, astonishment, anger, and flat out delirium.


Not so fast! The war to take back America is far from finished. The spin we are about to hear should stop us in our tracks. The next few weeks will see more trial balloons than a clear fall sunrise in Santa Fe, NM. Politicians are going to look for the soft spot in the underbellies of voting public. For instance - Obama, Frank, Schumer, and Reid have all begun the new onslaught of propaganda. "We moved too fast and asked for too much," "Incremental change is a better way to go about reforming health care," "It's time to work with the GOP to work out real compromise and bipartisanship," and , my personal favorite from our President, "I was so busy getting things done that I lost touch with the American People." Right! The only thing Mr. Prez lost touch with was his ego which grew to outlandish proportions.


So, what now? Do not lose track of the end goal. Making Washington the voice of us, the People. They work for us, the People. The country belongs to us, the People - not ACORN, Wall Street, SEIU, the elite Left, the Banks, or any other entity.


Be aware of a new onslaught of false prophets feigning easy access to Nirvana, so long as the People fall in line and stop with the dissent. Lexington and Concord were small, highly symbolic victories; but, the war ended at Yorktown 5 long years later. In Defense of Poland and the Czech Repubic

An open letter to President Obama,

Your actions on the world stage are frightening. For close to 100 years, the U.S. and most of the free world have worked to secure the sovereignty of much of Eastern Europe. It would be nice if the U.S. continued these efforts. President Reagan brought down the wall and subsequent Presidents have firmly supported Poland and the Czech Republic. Why do you cave into the Russians, and by association, Iran? You and I both realize that a mobile missile system will not be in the right place at the right time. The only known way to stop an ICBM is up close and personal.
It is difficult to ignore your association with GE yet again. Jeffery Immelt will make millions as the caution directed at Russia is dramatically relaxed. The American people do not like the apologist approach you have implemented in our foreign policy. You have an opportunity to begin setting the record straight this week when you are at the U.N. Instead, I suspect to see lovely photo ops with your new friends, like Qaddafi. Be sure to discuss the pleasures of golf in Scotland. Again, I urge you to do the right thing.

ACORN, Felony, Sen. Robert Casey...Indefensible

Many of you are aware that the Senate voted 83-7 yesterday to cut off funding to ACORN. It is about time! This corrupt organization has finally gone too far even for the Far Left wackos..........Well, for almost all the Far Left wackos. No state can have a more miserable presence in the Senate than Pennsylvania. Arlen Specter and Bob Casey represent most of what is smothering the foundation of American society. Specter switches sides in a betrayal to those who voted for him and Casey votes to continue funding the criminal enterprise called ACORN. I thought Casey was simply a rubber stamp for the President but I was wrong; he is a Far Left zealot whose only motivation is more government at any cost. My letter below was sent to Sen. Casey's office today. There will be a standard, form letter response as he continues down the road to oblivion.

Sen. Casey, You have disgraced yourself in front of the entire Nation. Only 7 U.S. Senators were misguided to the extent that their vote was cast in support of continued funding to ACORN. You were one of those votes. I believe that in time ACORN will be exposed as the criminal enterprise behind untold incidents of voter fraud, intimidation, IRS fraud, and other felonious acts; more than 30 criminal indictments have already been issued. You may very well be acting as a co-conspirator with these criminals, not as a deliberate act; but out of blind devotion to a Left Wing agenda that will destroy the foundation of the United States. The United States and the good people of Pennsylvania desire ethical and honest representation in Washington. Clearly, you do not fit the bill.

9/11/2001, A Solemn Memory

Today is a time for each of us to reflect on what this country stands for and say a prayer for those who perished. Watching a number of memorials honoring those who fell 8 years ago today brings a grave concern for our country. I believe that we are in considerably more danger today that at any time in my life. Sadly, the dangers comes from within. The far left continues to lay blame for acts of terror at the feet of this nation. We do not understand the plight of the oppressed Muslim people, we do not change our society to accommodate the principles of terrorists who pledge their lives to our destruction, and we do not stoop down at the feet of monsters who murder innocents around the world. We are racists who must be broken if we want to close our borders to illegals, if we believe that we have a language and it is English, and if we dare profile the murderers in our midst. The terrorist will never be soothed just as the dedicated Leftist will forever place the world's problems at the feet of Americans.

Every American school should present the History Channel documentary made from a random collection of 9/11 video. Pearl Harbor killed no greater number of Americans than did the 9/11 attacks and D-Day's 10,000 casualties had no greater impact than 9/11. Yet, if you ask 100 Americans to speak of either of these events, many cannot because our schools too often indoctrinate and do not teach. How can we impart the pride our nation so richly deserves if generations are ignorant of our history?

Here is what I say. Hunt down the terrorists and eliminate them. Do not yield to the opinions of other nations and our own committed Left. Evil knows only one master - and that master is Power.

Our enemy from within has its leader in the White House. Our President wishes to dismantle what remains of our moral fiber. We prosecute patriots who serve us in far off lands and protect the "rights" of terrorists. We apologize to the world at every turn for America's transgressions and make excuses for Hamas and Hezbollah as they pledge to destroy a nation. The Left attacks Sarah Palin as ignorant and corrupt, yet looks the other way as Charles Wrangle goes unpunished for known felonious act as he leads the Way and Means Committee. Our compass has lost its bearing.

Yet, there is hope. I will not believe that our Nation will falter. Our history speaks to the inner strength of this nation. Social and political upheavals are self-correcting acts. Our genesis as a nation is replete with evidence of cleansing acts. The War of 1812 forcefully established our rightful place in the world of nations, the Civil War purged an evil from our national soul. WWI, The Great Depression, WWII, Korea, The Civil Rights Movement in the 60's, Vietnam, the Reagan Revolution each frame momentous chapters in American history. In all of these events, our nation emerged stronger and more united in our ideals.

Now, our nation is once again at a crossroads. Will we succumb to those who wish to destroy our legacy and future as a nation? I say no. I say Americans will again define their destiny in the image of our Founding Fathers. It begins tomorrow with a march on Washington. May God Bless this Nation.

The Absurdity of Cap and Trade

I am grateful to be once again employed in the industry I have enjoyed for many years. My imposed 6-month "vacation" was certainly not a chosen path. Our country is going crazy. An Administration drunk with power is spending at unimaginable rates, imposing government will on private industry, pandering to big labor whenever possible, using fear to destroy free enterprise within healthcare, relying on questionable science to create an energy policy of disasterous proportion, using "Czars" to to usurp the duties of Congress.........and the most laughable occurance to date - Al Franken is a U.S. Senator, giving the Dems a super majority in Congress. We must derail these un-Constitutional maneuvers. A brief espression of my disgust is shown here.

Opinion – The Absurdity of Cap and Trade

In no uncertain terms, I want you to know that the Cap and Trade legislation is a catastrophe waiting to happen. Scientists around the world are seriously questioning the existence of "man made" global warming and resultant CO2 levels. Yet, you and the Leftists in Congress continue with your obsession regarding this matter. Your radical approach to the environment belies the fact that incremental improvements in individual consumption will greatly benefit this country.

The energy cap and trade regulations would kill our economy for years to come. The President's friend at GE, Jeffery Immelt, is already ready to broker carbon credits to the tune of billions of taxpayer dollars. Rationing, oppressive regulations, continued intrusion into the life of the individual is a dramatic and radical departure from the essence of our Constitution. Modeling any policy after California is a joke. The state is broke and dysfunctional by any reasonable definition.

It is clearly impossible for any Democrat in Congress to break ranks with the President, fearing brutal political retribution. Multiple Czars appointed by Obama are already usurping the functions of Congress, again violating the balance of powers in that pesky Constitution.

I have no hope that you will stand against this tyranny. Be on notice that there is a limit to how much of this absurd behavior the American people will tolerate from our elected officials. I am deeply concerned for the very existence of our country and have no expectation that you will represent the will of the people.

The GM Scam - A Public Company? NOT!

So much for a company that is too big to fail. So much for pumping billions of our $$$$ into GM and Chrysler to avoid Chapter 11. We now have the privilege of pumping additional billions for the sole purpose of  protecting UAW pensions and jobs.

I sit watching the propagandist CFO of the "new GM" explain why the UAW needed protection in the scam that is being jammed down the taxpayers throats. This man reads from a well prepared list of talking points, carefully explaining the once in a lifetime opportunity to create a smaller, stronger GM.

It seems that the UAW required protection because it had sacrificed greatly as jobs were lost. This jerk neglects to mention that the bloated, legacy laden UAW contracts have placed a burden on the auto companies that guaranteed failure. The senior debt holders, to hell with them - Hail UAW, the voice of Obama (oh, I mean the voice of the people?). While the companies are certainly partially to blame for being tone deaf in the marketplace, the UAW facilitated the entry of foreign automakers into the U.S. market. This is a joke and another glaring example of the unending payback that Mr. Obama still owes the UAW. Chicago politics is alive and well in DC.

Another interesting bit of news this morning. The Hummer division has been sold to an "UNDISCLOSED" buyer. Is not GM a public company? Do the shareholders have a right to know how the company is broken up? Could the UAW or some other Left Wing entity be the new owners of Hummer? I answer Yes to all these questions.

Where is the transparency? Did the shareholders vote on this Hummer sale? Where is the rule of law? You know, the laws like Sarbanes-Oxley created to reduce clandestine and questionable accounting prosecutors.

The new GM is another power grab by the Administration. The one clear result of this action is the protection of the UAW.

One, however, can not question the innovative result of this corporate theft. The new GM will produce cars of enduring quality and design.

Now, this is the electric car I want to drive. Manufacturered by the newly minted UAW owned production facility based in Havana. The demonstrated accomplishments of the Cuban auto industry in the care and maintenance of 1950's U.S. cars made the transition to the electric vehicle a snap.

A Farewell to Hate

It's been a while. You know interviewing for a job has actually taken precedent over the Daily NObama. 

What I have been doing is spending a bit of time reading that Left Wing hate site known as the Huffington Post. Much effort was made to engage in intelligent dialogue (I must admit, I did also antagonize just a bit) which proved to be impossible. The quote below is my farewell commentary to the loons at Huffington. Not surprisingly, there has not been a single comment posted in response, pro or con. I would urge anyone who feels the need to vent to visit Huffington and speak loudly.

"I have read the HP on a regular basis of late. Why would a Conservative do such a thing? OK, all you Lefties make your jokes....had a good laugh?...Good, let's now move on. I had hoped to enter discussions that would demonstrate a desire by the Left to move the country back to its robust, capitalist self. Instead, I witnessed an unending display of hate, accusations, shifting blame on to all things Bush.

Desecrating American ideals is the main activity exhibited here. Missing are the people of differing opinions debating issues for the purpose of making the country stronger. Instead, I find zealots spewing an endless stream of hate at all who dare dissent. Be sure to get in some ugly insults at me because I love this country and can look beyond political agendas.

As you strengthen our enemies remember a terrorist doesn't enter into meaningful discourse; they murder Americans and Brits and Spaniards and Italians and Iraqis and Afghans...."

I must thank a friend for sending me the majority of the following material. It underscores in a most enlightened manner the misrepresentations voiced by President Obama during the European apology tour last month.

After reviewing acknowledgments of God from all 50 state constitutions, and the concluding sentence of the Declaration, one is faced with the prospect that maybe, the ACLU and the out-of-control federal courts are wrong! (with particular recognition to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in California) If you found this to be 'Food for thought' send to as many as you think will be enlightened as I hope you were.

Today's Lunch, Pork and Extortion

The State of CA is in a terrible financial condition, so Gov. Arnold is being forced to make some very difficult decisions. The latest demonstration of the real intent of the Obama Administration goes something like this - The CA Home Healthcare Workers Union absorbed a pay cut as part of an effort toward fiscal control by the Gov. Being outraged, the Union ran to Obama claiming foul because the law requires the union pay scale be preserved without exception. The Administration decided that a humanitarian act in support of the Union was required.

The State of California will NOT receive $6.8 Billion in stimulus funds unless union wages are restored. Extortion by any other name is still extortion. Of course, the millions of other private sector workers in CA who have lost jobs get nothing other than assurances that the stimulus will benefit everyone.

When will the payback to unions be complete? My guess, no sooner than the 2012 elections.

Speaking of stimulus $$.

There is an upscale seaside community with a typical boardwalk, complete with shops, arcades, restaurants, etc. As is often the case, the boardwalk is in need of updating and repair. Previous improvements have been handled in the standard fashion using local tax $$ to get the work done. Summer arrives, everyone has a good time. Right?

Well, not exactly. This boardwalk is in the state of Delaware. Lest we forget, a former Delaware Senator is now our VP. So, the boardwalk construction will receive stimulus $$$ to the tune of about $7,000,000. Construction will begin after the summer season, thus having the immediate beneficial impact for which the stimulus was intended. Not.

On the bright side, the town can invest in mortgage instruments being sold by Sen. Chris Dodd's favorite CT bank.

It seems that everyday brings out a new example of a total absence of ethics and morals in government.
