Our President ???

Mr President,

It seems that there is no limit to your willingness to deceive the American People and move toward economic destruction. At a time when millions are unemployed, underemployed and in dire financial straits you continue to hide from reality. How you say?

First, not presenting a budget to Congress! What kind of garbage is this? Refusing to address in an honest manner the need to CUT real spending in all aspects of the budget. You dare to threaten seniors with untruths about how Medicare reform will effect their lives.

Leading the way for you in Congress are two of the most repulsive leaders I have seen in my lifetime, Harry Reid and Nancy "I am the Queen," Pelosi. These two make a mockery of our government as you instruct them to oppose any meaningful actions that may take place in the legislative process.

While I recognize your quest to drive Socialism into our country, your presence on the World stage has become a joke. How about acting like a President of the United States and not an incompetent third world flunky.

Your complete lack of real life experience now is on display. You do not respect the Office of the President, your predecessors, the Congress and, most egregiously, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

I am embarrassed that you are my President. Why not join a nice country club with your political flunkies and work on your handicap instead of seeking a second term? Our country would be so much better off. If you think about it, this could be your finest act of Patriotism.

An Open Letter to the White House

I long for the days when James Polk roamed the halls of the White House, or U.S. Grant held his famous and raucous parties, or when Dolly Madison invented ice cream. Why you ask? Each of those situations had a purpose. Only God, on one of his better days, can imagine what purpose you and your administration actually serve.

Please resign. Respectfully, Ken Ludwig

If Only I Had a Hybrid or a Windmill or a Printing Pre$$ !

"Idiots Delight" - The term nicely describes an action that is absent of logic and ignores the realities of life as we know it. Obama has perfected this concept in his governing style. Case in point.

The price of oil skyrockets to $108, $14 Trillion in debt is about to destroy our economy, a way is underway on our souther border and what does this president do? He announces that the government has begun the conversion to an all green fleet. Now, I would actually support this activity if a) we had the money to take this action, b) instead of converting the fleet, the fleet was cut in half thus reducing the size and intrusion of government, and c) the vehicles weren't yet another avenue to funnel money to the UAW, General Motors in particular.

Mr. president (small "p" for emphasis) do you really want to help our country reduce dependence on foreign oil? How about opening up our country to new exploration and production; how about we convert vehicles and power plants to natural gas...you know that stuff the lives under the U.S. in quantities so large it is beyond virtually impossible to comprehend the size of the reserves. Instead you ask that we figure out a way to  run a vehicle, town, state...on wind mills or algae or solar panels or bullshit!!! Of course, the BS needs to be taxed for emitting excessive quantities of methane.

While our dollar turns to dust you have your Senate sycophants posture for yet another effort to demonize those who attempt to acheive meaningful change. Big Chuckie Schumer carries the water for the democratic caucus that has only one goal - create disruption through the use of personal attacks and disinformation.

Your administration is a malignant disease that has reached the pinnacle of incompetence. Do us all a favor and resign.

Drill Baby Drill - On Yeah, NOT HERE! The Hypocrit Speaks!

Obama: Drill, Brazil, Drill!
 Posted 03/21/2011 07:08 PM ET
Energy Policy: While leaving U.S. oil and jobs in the ground, our itinerant president tells a South American neighbor that we'll help it develop its offshore resources so we can one day import its oil. WHAT?!?
With Japan staggered by a natural disaster and a nuclear crisis, cruise missiles launched against Libya in our third Middle East conflict and a majority of U.S. senators complaining about a lack of leadership on the budget, President Obama decided it would be a good time to schmooze with Brazilians.
His "What, me worry?" presidency has given both Americans and our allies plenty to worry about. But in the process of making nice with Brazil, Obama made a mind-boggling announcement that should make even his most loyal supporter cringe:
We will help Brazil develop its offshore oil so we can one day import it.
We have noted this double standard before, particularly when — at a time when the president was railing against tax incentives for U.S. oil companies — we supported the U.S. Export-Import Bank's plan to lend $2 billion to Brazil's state-run Petrobras with the promise of more to follow.
Now, with a seven-year offshore drilling ban in effect off of both coasts, on Alaska's continental shelf and in much of the Gulf of Mexico — and a de facto moratorium covering the rest — Obama tells the Brazilians:
"We want to help you with the technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely. And when you're ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers."
Obama wants to develop Brazilian offshore oil to help the Brazilian economy create jobs for Brazilian workers while Americans are left unemployed in the face of skyrocketing energy prices by an administration that despises fossil fuels as a threat to the environment and wants to increase our dependency on foreign oil.
Obama said he chose Brazil to kick off his first-ever visit to South America in recognition of that country's ascendancy. He has also highlighted one of the reasons for America's decline — an energy policy that through the creation of an artificial shortage of fossil fuels makes prices "necessarily skyrocket" to foster his green energy agenda.
In an op-ed in USA Today explaining his trip, Obama opined: "Brazil holds recently discovered oil reserves that could be far larger than ours. And as we seek to increase secure-energy supplies, we look forward to developing a strategic energy partnership."
Yet in his alleged quest for "secure-energy supplies," he refuses to develop oil and natural gas resources in U.S. waters. His administration has locked up areas in the West where oil shale reserves are estimated to be triple Saudi Arabia's reserves of crude. His administration is even stalling on plans to build a pipeline to deliver oil from Canada's tar sands to the U.S. market.
That project would build a 1,661-mile pipeline from the tar sands of Alberta to U.S. refineries near Houston. It would create 13,000 "shovel-ready" jobs and provide 500,000 more barrels of oil per day from an ally.
Yet it's now being held up by the State Department because it crosses an international border, on the grounds that it needs further environmental review. Shipping oil by tanker from Brazil is safer and more secure?
If Brazil had copied our current energy policy, it wouldn't have discovered in December 2007 the Tupi field, estimated to contain 5 billion to 8 billon barrels of crude, or its Carioca offshore oilfield that may hold up to 33 billion barrels.
Haroldo Lima, head of Brazil's National Oil Agency, estimates that Carioca might hold as much as five times the reserves of Tupi. Somehow the Brazilians aren't too worried about oil spoiling the pristine beaches of nearby Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro in the tourist season.
We suggest that President Obama return home and start worrying about an unapologetic American renaissance in which we focus more on American energy and American jobs and less on mythical environmental hazards and foreign accolades

It's Back - The Insanity is Too Much to Bear

Silence be gone.

Fiscal realism is at the door. Is America willing to make the hard decisions or will ideological dogma continue until the system implodes?

I am watching the Liberals run from their responsibilities in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio. Violence is particularly troubling in Wisconsin. Even more absurd is watching the public unions in New Jersey call Gov. Christy the next Gadhafi because he is taking away their rights. Rights to what? To continue to take a free ride on the largess of the taxpayer? To refuse to come to grips with a unique circumstance called insolvency out of pure ignorance?

it also seems that our president (small "p") Obama has little understanding of States (capitol "S") rights. Vilify the unions? Give me a break. The only rights violated and individuals vilified are those Americans who do not want to perpetuate the entitlement mentality that has metastasized through our society. He presents a budget that will increase the deficit over the next tens years to exceed the sum total of our Nation's debt since 1776. Nice work considering the last 2 years achieved a level debt that I believe quintupled our former champion spender "W." I may be off a little, but what's a couple of trillion to this guy.

Seattle has decided to allow public safety officers to decline enforcing laws or taking into custody any offenders that are being denied rights due to racial discrimination. By the way, this is a subjective judgement. Our president has encouraged the Attorney General to refuse to enforce Federal laws that do not recognize same sex marriage. I personally care little about who sleeps with who, but how the hell can a nation of laws ignore enforcement simply - BECAUSE. Why not just pull out copies of Marx's Manifesto and Mao's Little Red Book, tear up the Constitution in one fell swoop and empty the asylums. Oh yeah, we elected them already.

This is officially a rant and, admittedly, not completely coherent. But, I am stupefied and appalled by what I see every day in my country.

Pass it along, encourage comments; but most importantly, help stop the insanity.
