Those Pesky Tea Parties

I took the opportunity to write President Obama this morning. Have a look.

Mr. President,

You have accomplished something that hasn't been done effectively since the days of President Nixon and Watergate. The People (Republicans, Democrats, Independents) have had enough of your unrestrained and immoral spending spree. WE are speaking out directly to you because our elected officials are too busy serving Pork, and not using lobbyists, to listen to us. Just because you have the keys to the vault is not cause to empty it immediately.

Delusion abounds within your junta. Speaker Pelosi states that the Tea Party demonstrations are orchestrated by and for the rich - wrong. Your own Press Secretary dismisses the Tea Parties as minor, amusing, and a demonstration by People who do not get it. You tax cut is the real savior of the middle class American. Right ?!?  A tax cut using money we do not have.

Please look out of the window and wake up to an America that is angry.

  1. Please look at a cross-section of Presidential approval polls and realize that you teabag idiots represent a small minority of opinion in the United States.

Think your guys can do a better job? Win some elections.

  2. Oh dear. Where were you with a nobush blog when Bush/Cheney were shoveling our tax dollars out to their friends?

When the 8 Billion in cash on pallets was shipped to a war zone?

When they degraded and shamed the USA with an official policy of torture under medical observation?

Where were you then? When the Bush Cheney cabal managed the biggest transfer of wealth -to the already wealthy- in WORLD HISTORY?

Where were you when all that happened?
Have a cup of tea and thinkll about that, nobama blogspot.

Bet you do not have the courage to publish this comment......

  3. It is published. Unlike the Left, fear is not a primary debating technique for rationale folks.

The key point to take away here is that Americans have and will speak up in support of their beliefs. Yesterday was, in fact, a signal that Wahington has insulted the folks to the point of action. Maybe you could look beyond the left wing talking points and think.

Also, please send me a copy of the $8 billion in cash.

  4. Mr. Tommmmcat,

Is there some reason why you Lefties must use insults in any discourse? Please tell me at what point is government too big? If ever. Think you know torture - I reference Al Jezerra, Kim Jung Il, etc...
    Thanks for your informed opinion?

  5. Kim Jung II just referenced Guantanimo when asked about the reporters they were holding. "We are not Guantanimo" he said.

Your 'beliefs' would have more credibility if they were based on facts. The fact that Bush put in the worst financial shape in history. You want to criticize the man who has been called in to clean up this mess that Bush and Cheney made of this great nation?

You should have been teabagging during the war, during the outrageous theft of money under Bush from the middle class to the super wealthy! When Bush took office, the rich sequestered 8% of the nations profits. Under Bush this went to 22%!

The average yearly income of the middle class went DOWN over $2,000 under Bush.

The CEO wages under Bush went from about 150 times the average wage to over 400 times the average wage. The super wealthy were his 'base'. They used ;'religion' and 'patriotism' to get the average American to support this theft from the middle class in America. Duped. And we have steadily lost jobs to support the corporate class that Bush catered to. You dont think he could have done something about this? Numbers do not lie.

You can google, right? There are photos of soldiers sitting on pallets of US cash. 6 to 8 Billion dollars was shipped and lost in this way. Do your homework .

All you people who think we are going in the wrong direction need to realize, this started 30 years ago. Obama has a huge mess to clear up. America has to invest to reclaim its former spot as a leader in the world, in education, in energy and in integrity. If you had protested the terrible theft of Bush, then you might have some credibility.

  6. We agree on something. This mess started 30 years ago, when Jimmy Carter was President.
